If you are on V5R3 and you use CODE to edit/save, you will need PTF SI14144
for APAR SE14983. If you don't apply this PTF, you could save with blank
members. I think this is a very serious issue for CODE users. See the
June postings on the CODE400-L midrange list originating with Jon Paris.
It appears this is a problem with CODE. I think the LPEX editor is fine.

I'm not sure if this problem got resolved in WDSC 5.1.2 as our environment
is not setup for this.

Hi all,

I hope someone else has experienced this problem. I've downloaded the
latest upgrade to 5.1 at home. I have a DSL connection, Win XP, and I'm
connecting to the host AS/400 via F5 VPN. What's happening is, I open an
RPGLE source member in the studio client, make mods, click on the save
button and my source member get cleared on the host.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Chris
