I have noticed the same response numerous times on this list to solve
problems - Create a new workspace. I questioned the maturity of WDSCi a few
months ago (http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200409/msg00149.html). The
consensus of that thread was that there was so much to like about WDSCi that
you were willing to overlook the problems it has. I'm not sure I have that
luxury.

I just received the 5.1.2 cd-roms. I am waiting for my brand-spankin' new
P4 1GB RAM XP Pro box to be delivered to my desk. I *will* install 5.1.2
and install the updates. I will "wiggle my toes in the water", but I doubt
I'll be jumping off the dock anytime soon. I will be in an absolute crunch
mode for the next five months, so I cannot afford downtime due to product
immaturity. I need something that I don't have to worry about potentially
spending hours at a time problem-solving the development tool. Right now,
reading from this list, WDSCi is just not there.

I understand that the fine folks in Toronto inherited WDS. I do not know
the quality of the stuff they inherited, but I'm guessing there was a reason
why the move to Toronto was made. This is pure speculation on my part.
(Please fill in the missing blanks.)

Yesterday I read a blurb about Websphere version 6 coming out in December.
Is WDSCi being upgraded as part of this announcement?
