Hi Rob,

Rational ClearCase LT is included only with the advanced edition of WDSc.
You could go either way: buy CC LT and licences to use with the standard
edition or buy WDSC advanced (there is no "upgrade" to WDSC advanced since
the standard edition is included with WebSphere Development Studio
(5722-WDS)).

You should also look at ordering the WDSc 5.1.2 (just noticed you are at
5.1.0.3). Sorry for not replying sooner, hopefully better late than
never.

Subject
[WDSCI-L] Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries

We have the WebSphere Development ToolSet 5722WDS so are entitled to
unlimited installs of Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries for
our company.

We have been trying to use CVS for sharing projects but have had issues,
so
would like to go to Rational ClearCase LT.

We are unclear whether we just need to buy ClearCase licences and use it
with the standard version of Websphere or we need to buy the advanced
version of Websphere and if so if we need to pay full price for advanced
or
just a price differential between standard and advanced?

We are using version

WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries

Version: 5.1.0.3

Build id: 20040610_1200

Anybody using Rational? Thanks

Rob
