What gets me are all the timid people at shops that quake at the thought
of asking management to order a free refresh of software THEY ALREADY PAID
FOR AND ARE ENTITLED TO! Or, don't know the name of their BP and are
afraid to contact their BP directly instead of running it up the chain of
command. Maybe their chain of command has had turnover and they no longer
know who the BP is? Does IBM look this up if you fill in the form at:
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/buy/marketing/bp_connect.html
Then again, if the first request to your brand new BP is to order you some
free software, don't expect him to buy you lunch over the deal. :-)
