PTF Requirements for v6.0

I have a question about the PTF requirements for v6.0.  The administrator 
here wants to ensure that  installing v6.0 won't cause any problems, so 
I've checked the PTF, hardware and software requirements.  It seems as 
though we are missing 1 PTF (SI104892) for RSE .  It says it is a 
"required PTF missing" when I verify connection in RSE (v4.0).

So my question is, can I still install WDSc v6.0 without this PTF or 
should I wait until it is applied?  The reason I am asking is because it 
could be a few weeks before it gets applied, and I've been dying to 
upgrade from v4.0.  The Cover Letter for it didn't give too much 
information.
