WDSC 5.1.2.5 saving for long time ?

I have WDSC 5.1.2.5 installed, for some reason, when I copy & paste a
source from LPAR-1 to LPAR-2, without not even asking to save, WDSC goes on
saving
(I think syntax checking also) for a long time. Finally I have to give up
and start using SEU. Has anybody had issue like this before.
