It locks up using the Text editor also. The message at the bottom of
the screen is
'Loading Grammer ------ '
I couldn't get the rest of the message because the screen turns white
after an Alt-tab.

I also just noticed that I had about 8-9 JVM terminated messages with
different error codes.

Hi Mike,

By default faces-config.xml is opened with the XML Source Page editor.
It does some fancy parsing of the file.

Perhaps, you could try to use 'Text editor' instead and see if this
works
better?
Just right click on faces-config.xml, then 'Open with...' -> 'Text
editor'.

Hope this helps to get you going.
Vadim.

[WDSCI-L] Crashes and lockups

I'm running 5.1.2.5 build 20050622_0933

I've started playing around with JSF a little and have been running
into problems. Everytime I try to open the faces-config.xml file, WDSC
locks up or completely crashes(without showing errors, just closes up).
I have created a new workspace and was able to work for a little while,
but eventually I get back to the same issue.

It appears to be hanging in javaw.exe.

Any ideas what might be going on? Fixes?
