I've asked this question myself....the answer seems to be yes but it is
not supported by either IBM or Macromedia.

I ran across an article once were the author walked you through
installing Coldfunsion on the iSeries....however I failed to make a note
of where it was and have never been able to find it again.

The info/contacts I did dig up are all at home, I'll email you something
tonight.
