I would also encourage you to download and install the RSE Extensions for WDSC: http://www.softlanding.com/websphere/rse.htm One of the things our programmers missed about 5250 when we moved to WDSC was not having access to our spooled files and job completion messages. So we created plugins that add these features to RSE. We later added a perspective you can switch to when you are doing heavy editing, that just lays the screen out in a way that really lets you leverage the features that WDSC provides for this. These are all bundled for free in one easy to install package.
