Has anybody discovered how to activate the spell checker in editors other
that XML/HTML etc?

I would like to run spell check against UIM and DDS panels.

As part of my investigation I also discovered that Spelling doesn't appear
in Preferences - although the help text specifically says that it is
supposed to be there.  Anyone discovered where that set of preferences has
moved to?
