Maybe this will help. Below is some instruction I used to set my timeout
parameters:

Going into http://ServerName:9210/admin 
Click on the + next to Applications on the left side of the screen. Then
click on Enterprise Applications. Click on the desired project (not check).
On the next screen, make sure the configuration tab is selected and scroll
to the bottom of the screen. Look for the Additional Properties area and
click on the Session Management link. Search for the Overwrite Session
Management Property and select overwrite. Search for the session timeout
property and set it to the desired setting (600 minutes). Stop and restart
the IWAEXP server. Stop and restart *WEBFACING. STOP and restart the
application. If this still doesn't work, click on the + sign next to Servers
in the left hand side. Select Application Servers. Select iwaexp. Stop and
restart the servers and applications.

thanks for the pointer...but our QINACTIV is set to *NONE...maybe i'll 
have to open up a PMR with IBM on this...unless someone else has any 
ideas...
