Here are my reccomendations:
1 - Backup up your computer - with verify on.
2 - If you can then remove 5.1.2
3 - re-boot - apparently this is very important. I wasted over 7 hours on
this
4 - Do not install any of the optionals - just the main program and the
integrated test environment.

Anybody else having trouble installing WDSc 6.0?  I have been using
5.1.2 for quite some time.  Having acquired the CDs for WDSc, and tried
to install it.  The install abended in the middle of CD #4 for reasons
unknown.
