Then it isn't that "smart", cos we have source lines selected.  :-) 

Is it, mayhap, the version we are on (5.1.0) has something to do with it?

Hi Steve,

The context(popup) menu in Remote Systems LPEX Editor is "smart" :-)
Convert Selection to Free-form should only appear when you have text
selected in the editor.

Similarily you will only see Syntax Check selection in the context menu
when there is text selected.
