WDSC's tools support Struts 1.1 (a sore point with me...even WebSphere ships with Struts 1.2.7). A good book for that revision is "Struts in Action" by Ted Husted (a core Struts committer). If you want to shun WDSC's support, the two books below are pretty thorough. -- Robert
