You could probably do it with a regular expression (just getting into those more and more as of late), but it would require a little bit of footwork and you might have to develop some sort of script to accomplish the task vs. doing a simple grep command. Here's a site with so much to read and understand it makes my head spin, but is the place I go to learn new regex stuff: http://www.regular-expressions.info/ About the grep command: http://www.gnu.org/software/grep/doc/grep.html HTH, Aaron Bartell ---------------------- http://mowyourlawn.com -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 03, 2006 2:24 PM To: wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [WDSCI-L] iSeries search - OMIT Is it possible to search all QCLSRC source members for SBMJOB that do not contain JOBQ?
