Tim,
Its true you cant run display commands from WDSCi without initiating a 5250
session but there are some work arounds. For you libl question I use the
CHGLIBL and hit the prompt button. I also make use of comand/cl programs with
preset chglibl commands to get my wdsci user to look at the proper list. I
found to make this work for me i had to change my compile option in the
preferences to be interactive though. Anyone else with ideas on this please
chime in.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Interactive jobs from within WDSC
Forgive me, a newbie here trying to tame this beast. I am attempting to
run a simple command (edtlibl) from the command line in WDSC. I ran the
STRRSESVR command from a green screen. Then when I attempt to execute the
command in WDSC, I get the following message: "The interactive job
associated with this command is busy". It states to resolve this "Switch
to the interactive job and complete the previous command". I know I can
work the library list from the remote system navigator, but this is more
about me trying to understand how to run an interactive command. Can WDSC
do this. I trying to avoid constantly switching back and forth from green
to mean... Thanks, Tim
