Li,

I am getting mixed results and I can't figure out why. Sometimes it
fills it in and other times it doesn't.

I just tried it again. Even though I switched active members (via tab
selection AND again by closing the original program source), it filled in
the values from my first debugging session of the day, not from the
current open source.

Other times I only get blank fields, even if a member is open.

Mark,

Service Entry Point dialog fills the default from your current
selection in RSE view.
If your RSE selection is a source member, it fills the defalt program
name with the source member name.

Thanks,

[WDSCI-L] SEP defaults clarification request

Can someone clarify for me: When does activating a Service Entry Point
(SEP) automatically fill in the defaults to the selection screen and when
it doesn't? I haven't been able to determine a pattern.

If I have a member open and I'm on the iSeries Service Entry Point tab
and press the icon to add a SEP, my expectation is that all the "known"
values will automatically fill in to the Set Service Entry Point pop up.
Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.
