That's kinda ugly IMO... I finally found the properties, and changed
them as I needed. This allowed me to access full width on my screen.
However, as Don stated, that doesn't affect the compile AT ALL. So, I
created a new command in WDSCi - CRTw210 - that has my
width/length/override requirements. Too bad that at least DESIGNER
wouldn't read its own parms and compile as requested... :-(

                Bob,

As stated before setting the file level properties in Code Designer will
write those lines into the source that your deleting. So setting the
settings and leaving the settings will allow the designer to open the
source showing the WYSWYG display properly the next time you edit it.
From my tests though this has no affect on compiling in any of the three
methods (WDSCi, Code Designer and 5250 Command Line) so you would need
to change the setting manually (compile with prompt) or in a process
CL.

I forgot to add this adds some formatting stuff to you source. Where I
work my manager prefers that I delete all that out before archiving the
changes, so I would lose this info each time.

Sample from top of my program. The second line is where the formatting
shows 66 long by 199 wide.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Printer Form width in WDSCi

This question was asked before, but didn't get an answer...

Is there a way in Designer to set the form width? I am working on a form
that is supposed to have a width of (at least) 195, and it keeps getting
changed to 165. When I prompt the create command the width is 165 - but
I don't remember setting it to that.

Maybe the only way to fix it is by prompting the create command and
changing it each time I create???
