Re: Rational Product Updater error messages

If you require a proxy server to access the internet, then you need a file
called:

httpProxy.properties

in this directory:

C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\updater\eclipse\configuration (or
where ever you installed wdsc.)

The content of the file is:

enabled=true
host=?????
port=80

replace ????? with the hostname of the proxy server.

It's one of those days.

Within Rational Product Updater, I select IBM Rational Web Developer
6.0.0.1 and click Find Updates.  Then I get the following error messages:

Invalid update site url for IBM Rational Product Updater 6.0.0.4:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/updater/60/update/site.xml

Invalid update site url for IBM Rational Web Developer:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/rwd/60/update
Invalid update site url for IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client for
iSeries:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/iseries/wdsc600/update


Any help would be appreciated.
