i was just reading an article from july 2006 system i news and it seemed to
me that Scott was showing an rpg example of consuming a webservice using xml
and his http api... I think you have an article in that issue as well..

We do web services, but currently use SSL to
authenticate.

I looked at the HTTP API but it looks like that it cannot do the XML
magic needed to do SOAP. As far as I have understood, this is pretty
important for web services.
