I also use CODE/Designer for printer files, but CODE is deprecated.

I did contact IBM about this last spring when CODE was deprecated. Here
is the response that I received then (the sender attributed it to George
Farr with Rational), "...you point out an important feature in CODE/400
and that is the printer file support. At this point, as indicated in the
original answer, this feature will continue to be shipped as part of our
CODE/400 product. So customers who used it can continue using it without
any interruption". If the feature is so important, why is it not in
WDSc/RDi?
