My advice would be not to change the framework since that would probably 
require expertise in both Struts as well as the new framework to do this 
correctly.

I can see that WSDCi has Struts support, but I have not used it.  For 
smaller changes not involving new functionality, dedicated Struts 
support should not be needed though.
