Brian,

Windows => Preferences => LPEX Editor => User Key Actions

Key - pick a combo - I use c-s-f (Ctrl-Shift-F)
Action - filterSelection

Click Set, then Apply, then OK.

That's all there is to it!

You can also set up findSelection - I use Ctrl-Alt-F for that. Works best if you also turn on Select found text in your Find Text settings.
