Perhaps a question to ask is...
What causes the member lock to occur, and how can it be prevented? Doing a
disconnect can be a major pain.
Anyone know about the cause?

Occasionally, WDSc 7 will retain a member lock even after the source member
is closed. Is there any way, other than ending WDSc, to release the lock?
