Note that WDSC connections don't operate the same as 5250 sessions.

Thanks for the reply, but I understand that WDSC and 5250 uses different
connections. What I was trying to convey was that it wasn't some type
of network connection.

The thing I can't figure out is why it will work for 15 minutes and

then
lose it's connection and cause me to need to reconnect.

We have this issue here as well. For us it has to do with our VPN. The
VPN will kill connections that haven't been "used" for 2 hours. But, it
is our experience that there is a secondary "time window" that it uses
when it checks for idle connections.
