you're absolutely right (Peter said with 20/20 hindsight). 
Been there, done that, got the scars to prove it.
After installing EclipseME, my Turnover perspective refused to work. 
Luckily, it works again now, after uninstalling ME and re-installing 
Turnover.

I would recommend NOT trying to make it work in WDSCi but instead just use
the separate Eclipse install.  No reason to risk hosing up your WDSCi
workspaces.
