Wrong, it works just fine (using WDSC 7.0 on Vista Business without any 
problems).

I don't see the reason why so many people bash Vista, I've not had any 
major issues with it so far.

Hi Joe,

We are entirely an XP shop as far as I know. I believe they are planning
a rollout of Vista next year, but I don't want it because, as I
understand, WDSC doesn't work on Vista.
