Thanks for the clarification.

I guess that is where we've seen problems when we've tried to convert
from *ISO to MM/DD/YY.

I use Quantum all the time and it's a nice SQL tool.

I believe that *ISO supports dates from '0001-01-01' to '9999-12-31'.
*MDY only supports '01/01/40' (1940) to '12/31/39' (2039). I believe
that Michael is correct that his problem is due to Quantum defaulting to
*MDY, and I hope that the suggestions others have made about adding an
explicit date format command to the connect string fix his problem.

Note that if *ISO didn't support dates before 1/1/40, Michael wouldn't
have been able to put them in the database in the first place.
