Please note that this may not be an apples to apples comparison.  One of 
the things that happens under the covers is that the first search of a 
file takes a little longer as the member list gets built.  Subsequent 
searches can benefit from the list being built already.  That's just an 
i5/OS thing.

I regularly run searches over multiple source files each with dozens if 
not hundreds of members and the searches take about a minute.  You can 
see the progress as the tool first scans each one, then spins through 
the results of the scan to extract the matching entries.
