I, too, loved using Ctrl+Shift+L to get to a sequence number. I think the
behavior changed going from WDSC version 6 to 7.0. I don't have RDi or
RDP yet, but the process is easier in newer versions. Here's what I did
in WDSC 7.0 to return the functionality back to what it once was:

- In Windows, Preferences, expand 'General', then select 'Keys';
- Click on the 'View' tab;
- Then click on 'Key Sequence' to sort by the key sequence and scroll down
to 'Ctrl+Shift+L' and 'Show Key Assist';
- Then click on the 'Edit' button -- give it a few seconds to process this
request;
- In the bottom window, there are a couple of assignments. Select the one
stating 'Show Key Assist';
- Click on the 'Remove' button. I also clicked on 'Apply', but I don't
know if 'Apply' is required.
- Scroll down in the tree view on the left, expand 'LPEX Editor', and
select 'User Key Actions';
- In the box labeled 'Key' type 'c-s-l';
- In the box labeled 'Action', type 'locateSequenceLine';
- Click 'Set', then 'Apply'

This should restore the behavior to the previous. Of course, Buck did it
an easier way--he just chose a different key combination to associate with
'locateSequenceLine'.

Subject
[WDSCI-L] Line number

Can someone help me with the line number in an rpg member? Ctrl L goes
to
what I think is the record number in the member. I want to select the
line
that corresponds with the sequence number in the left hand margin.

Thanks.
