Sorry Joe, I confused the issue with throwing out the 8.0 in my post.
My current installation is all 7.5.1. I have RDI for SOA, which came with disks
for RDB& RDI, as well as HATS, and WAS 6.1 Test Environment. I first installed
the RBD, the 6.1 Test Environment, then when I began install for RDI, it forced
me to use a different install directory, and gave me 2 startup icons, 1 for RBD
and the other for RDI. So I assume I have 2 workbenches installed. I
would have thought that the install for RDI would have recognized that I already
had RDB installed and guided me to install the RDI into the RDB workbench.
But it did not, or I just missed it somewhere (twice, since I gave it 2 tries).
I brought up 8.0 because I do currently own RAD for Websphere 8.0 (but have not
yet installed it), and I just ordered RDP 8.0. I'm hoping that I can get
the two 8.0 products to install and play nice together into 1 workbench, as you
and everyone else seems to agree that it will do.
Thanks to everyone for your input,
Don
