Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] RDp SWMA
FYI
WDSc users were entitled to RDi up until 2010
RDi users are still entitled to RDp
I have to beg to differ (and I probably won't be alone in replying to
this). Every announcement and all literature from when RDi came out
clearly stated there was *NO* entitlement to RDi from WDSc.
WDS, the host compilers, came with a set number of entitlements to the
break out of the host-based products (ILE Compilers, "Legacy" compilers,Client for System i & iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list
and ADTS). But the sore spot was always that people (such as our shop)
who had made the investment in learning WDSc had no entitlement to
workstation tooling.
