Hi,

I use RDP to run my SQL scripts and have found in V8 that you have to right click the database connection in the data source explorer and select connect before it is selectable in the connection profile.

Best regards,

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Sql file editor?

Hi,

For a while I've been storing sql scripts as *.sql files with
meaningful names for queries that I tend to run often. That way I can
just double click on the file and run them in the window that opens
(same window as used by iNav but without opening iNav).
I created a filter in RDP for these scripts. Using the mouse right
button I can open them with Sql file editor or SQL query generator.

Can someone elaborate on these? SQL query generator doesn't seem to
work. Sql file editor seems a lot more interesting but how do I use
the connection profile that is displayed? I'm hoping I'll be able to
run the query from within rdp !
