I not clear on how "the job" is initiated.
If you have control of the SBMJOB command, job name, jobq and
other settings are under your control, but I don't know
what you mean by "When I run the command in batch mode" - maybe you
need to look at how the "batch mode" job is initiated....

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Controlling where i commands are run

Hi,

I'm trying to set up an environment to help with regular testing situations on the i.
I've made a profile called Tester so that I can have filter pools that are different to the ones that I'm using when developping. To set up my library list, I call a clp when I connect. I just need to modify the properties of the connection to change the test library each time ( call MyTestLibrary/setLibrarylist).
Now I want to create some command filters so that I can give them meaningful names like 'Run_Test' which will always call a standard test progam with the same name whatever test library I'm using.

When I run the command in batch mode, the job name is QPGMR and it gets sent to jobq QPGMR in QGPL. How can I control these settings?

Thanks
