Re: RDp 8.5

I am still not having any luck downloading 8.5 through Passport Advantage.
The product name is showing correctly, i.e. IBM Rational Developer for
Power Systems RPG & Cobol Development Tools for IBM i V8.5, but when I hit
the "Download Now" button, the window "https://www-112.ibm.com/ - Download
Director..." opens, then another "Information" window opens which says
"Not found on server: CI7TGML" with an "OK" button. It never goes away
until I click the "OK", then the Download Director window has the message
"Not found on server" and the Pause and Cancel buttons are greyed out.

I'll wait and try it again on Monday before I call for help.

RD Power 8.5 is a new release and not an update to RD Power 8.0.x. So, it
is a new install and will have its own fixpacks later. You can install
the
8.5 version on the same machine as 8.0.x.

The RD Power trial page
(http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rdp/?S_CMP=rnav) still
lists
8.0.3 right now. It is in the process of being updated to 8.5.
