Well I managed to get rid of the "Secure Storage" prompt on startup. Under Preferences, General=>Security=>Secure Storage. I unchecked both "Master password providers" on the Password tab. On the Contents tab, I highlighted "[Default Secure Storage]" and clicked the Delete button.

Not sure where it came from, but it's gone now.
