Select the Marquee tool, instead of the Arrow tool.  Then you can do a
rectangle selection.
This is the Eclipse GUI guidelines we were forced to follow.

Is the drag/select feature in RDi 9's screen designer totally gone?  We
were able to hold shift and drag in 8.5, but I can't find a way to drag
select fields anymore.
