Gad,
I have never heard of that happening so there must be something unique on
your system we need to consider. If anyone else has seen this, please
shout out now.
I would advise you to open a PMR.
But in the meantime, if you look in the directory where your workspace was
(you were prompted for this when you first brought up the product) and you
can find it again by going to File->Switch Workspace and seeing what
workspace you are currently in. Look in that directory for a
subdirectory .metadata which contains a file .log .
In this file you see details about the NullPointerException (a stack
trace). If you can paste that in here, we can diagnose it more quickly.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Openning Member MyLib/QRPGLESRC(MyMBr) has
encountered a problem
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello

A newbie question:

I've just installed RDi 9.0 on my Win 7 PC and connected to our Dev i
machine (7.1)
When trying to open a source Mbr (by double clicking it) I'm getting a
message
"Openning Member Mylib/QRPGLESRC(MyMbr) has encountered a problem. an
internal error has occurred. (Java.leng.NullPointerException)
The same happens with QCLSRC MBRs.

Googling the Err message got me nowhere

Anyone care to advise?

Thanks
Gad
