Hi Craig,
I can't speak for WDSC 7.0 because I don't have it on my PC, but I do have WDSC 6.0 for supporting legacy Webfacing applications. In WDSC 6.0 under Window > Preferences if drill down through Remote Systems > iSeries > LPEX Editor Parsers > ILERPG, there is an option to select whether or not you want automatic closure of control block and a pull down to select the style of closure you want. The pull down seems to offer all the different permutations that are possible. I would presume that the same option must exist in WDSC 7.0. Hopefully IBM didn't move it in WDSC 7.0. Good luck!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] How to suppress auto insert of ENDIF, ENDDO
Using WDSC 7.0

In free-format RPG, when I enter an "if" or "do" statement, the editor
generates the corresponding "ENDIF" or "ENDDO".

How can I suppress the auto generation of the END statements? (Side note, how can I get it to insert as lower-case, i.e., "endif" or "enddo").

Thanks
Craig Pelkie
