Good point! I actually wrote this utility about 8-years ago, when I first started using WDSC.

When I use file inside in sub-procedure, I have to use a Data-Structure on the Read/Update.

I forgot about that! I *ALWAYS* appreciate tips!!! So much easier to READ the code too!

PS. I had to run some utility reports for my boss to manually write "CSV" files to import into XLS. So, I fell back to what I knew/remembered. And I use the Old-fashion "I" & "O" specs! I like your solution SO MUCH BETTER! Thanks AGAIN! :)

For a program-described file, you can use a data structure instead of defining I and O specs. It's nicer when the rest of the program is free-form, and I think it's easier and less error-prone than I and O specs.
