I was curious about this setting in Windows - I recall it in Linux, I 
think. And apparently Unix/X-Windows have had it for a long time.

I looked at Win 7 mouse settings - there is a setting for the pointer to 
point at the default button, but nothing about focus.

At any rate, there isn't a setting in Control Panel, but apparently the 
feature has been around quite a while - you have to do something in the 
registry, here's a link to a discussion about this - ignore the chatter 
further in, eh? Typical Internet chaff, once the real stuff has been said.

It says the registry hack does work, somewhat - and it IS about Win 7.
