In terms of version and occurrence, this has been happening for a long time for me, I'd say over years, however it seems to only ever happen every few months, maybe quarterly, which is why I personally haven't made a fuss over it. And IBM knows I love to make a fuss! ;)

I have also had this issue and not just the delete key. It is not just 9.5 I have had it happen for a number of months but only once or twice a week. Again, I haven't identified why or when it happens and the only fix I have found is to shut down RDi and start it again. I will try some of the other suggestions next time it happens to me.
