For tables going into QTEMP, I would have an empty version (along with any needed indexes) in the appropriate file library and do a CRTDUPOBJ if it didn't already exist in QTEMP.

I knew that SQL would compile without definitions, but LikeRec? I expect that to fail.

Jon,

I had the same concerns, but noticed that I was only getting warnings on my compiles. It will create the program, but won't verify the columns in the tables.

This is a first for me so I’m hoping someone else has experienced this.

I have a number of SQLRPGLE programs that utilize tables in QTEMP. Compiling them in the green screen is OK because I can create the tables as needed. Not quite so simple to create them in the RDi server job though.

I can think of a number of possible solutions but figured I’d see if anyone else has experienced this. And if so, how do you handle it?
