I use the outline a lot. Mostly for navigating around the source member, or finding the usages of files, fields and indicators. It is a shame it isn't complete with the LHS indicators, and INDARA indicators, but finding the indicator usage for the associated DSPF (as long as INDARA hasn't been used) is really useful. Personally I find nothing worse than searching for indicator 30 using CTRL-F! Without care most CTRL-F finds could be numbers, field lengths, comments or bad field names! Outline makes it simpler.
