I think you can USE the product in perpetuity - you might not be to get upgrades, unless you have paid maintenance.

There is a page somewhere around the RDi pages that talks about the different kinds of licenses. I don't remember now, though.

RDi was provided by a former client I do really enjoy RDi so I would like to learn more about what that license allows and offers. But I can't find an explanation.
