Rob,
I right click and show my "QRGPLESRC" in a Table View...
From there I click on the downward pointing arrow (View Menu, Hover tip) and select "Subset". Shortcut key is F17 Filter...
From there, I can key in "F*" in the NAME for the filter. Sort of like the old PDM filter.
NAME: F* (Filter by Member Name)
TYPE: * (Filter by Member type: RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, etc...)
TEXT: * (Filter by Member Text Wildcard, ex "FIX" would find "My Fix program", "Fix this" & "This is a fix")
See if that works for you!
The "Text" filter is a wildcard search for the "TEXT" on the remember. Which is handy, if you want to find Text in the Member Text! Awesome!
Hope that helps you.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Member filter issue...
Hi all,
I have a member filter created which shows all the QRPGLESRC members in my library. I wanted to find only the members where the first letter of the text was F so I change the existing filter (which showed all
members) and added F* to the member text box (it was just * which did not filter). When I then hit the Test button (or apply the change and expand the filter) the list is empty.
Can someone check if this happens to them as well or let me know if I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks,
Rob
