I paste my code in the LPEX on some empty-lines, and then select
with Alt+R (R=Rectangle Select) and then paste-OVERLAY with Alt+Z.

Note that Alt-Z is not "pasteOverlay" -- it is "blockOverlay".

PS. If there is a simpler say, I would LOVE to know how to do it!!!!

There *is* a simpler way. Create your own key action and specify
the actual "pasteOverlay" action. This will paste from the clipboard like
Shift-Insert and Ctrl-V do except in overlay mode instead of in insert
mode.
