Is the variable in "scope"? Just asking...

You cannot change a variable if it is out of scope...

Subject: [WDSCI-L] CPF7E12 on variable change

I'm debugging an SQLRPGLE service program. I have a Monitor over a variable. I attempt to change the value of the variable and get this:
HOST: CPF7E12 Identifier does not exist.

Sometimes I get this, other times it works (diff source and/or variable). Anyone know the limitations of changing variables in RDi?
