Is there a "preference" setting. I'm not getting any message line info regardless of my cursor position, sub-routine or sub-procedure.

Also, your cursor needs to NOT be on a control flow statement (if/endif, do/enddo, etc)

The name of the subroutine will be shown on the LPEX message line which usually is at the bottom of the editor area (not the bottom of the RDi
window) just above the editor command line.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,

I cannot get it to work for either. I mean the arrows show up fine as they have for quite a while, but I can see nothing when I press the keys anywhere on my entire screen, other than the arrows.

Where exactly is it supposed to show up, Buck said at the bottom, but on
the bottom bar I see on the right side 'Replace' and
Then a little further over I see 571:11 which I believe is my current cursor position. Did I go too low?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge,
Danny

It does subroutines as well.

Thanks,
Eric

Buck,

Is that only for Sub Procedures? Nothing for subroutines?

editing RPGLE code to indicate in the outline what procedure the cursor is in but I am not seeing anything. Is there a preference to turn that on or did I just misunderstand?

I don't know the mousey-way, but Ctrl-Shift-O will do two things:
1) Draw the blue outline arrows on the left side.
2) Tell the name of the sub=procedure in the message area at the bottom.

Ctrl-F5 will remove the blue arrows.
