Paul,

windows>Preferences>Remote Systems>Remote System LPEX Editor>IBM i Parsers>ILE RPG>Key Behavior

I have the check-box for "Enter Key splits line for free form source". How do I tell it have every key on my keyboard that say "ENTER" to work the same? Both <ENTER>, including the Enter on the numeric keyboard section.

I want both <ENTER> keys to allow me to split my sql statements. Just like Notepad...

I ask, because I do not know how to differentiate that.

Please teach me...

Thanks!

PS. Sounds like a PMR to me...

Paul,

Okay, please advise how to get "Both" <ENTER> keys to always split a line in RDI please.

I wish to have my keyboard mapping consistent.

In Notepad, the <ENTER> always splits the line. <Just saying...>

Thanks!

That's a feature ... do not attempt to fix with RFE or PMR!

I regard it as a feature. Gives an easy either/or option for inserting lines.

I just noticed the keyboard ENTER doesn't break text to the next line while in embedded SQL code, but the number pad ENTER does. Is that a bug or a feature?

Thanks
